Fiber. Color. Love.

Welcome to the second week of WIWoW! This week I’ve put the spinning aside and am getting started on a very special project along with some wonderful women on a forum I frequent. One of the mamas on this board delivered and lost her sweet son at 26 weeks, and as part of her journey to healing, she puts together care packages for parents who find themselves in that same place, including little sets of hats and booties for these little preemie babies. After reading her story there was no way I could not help out in my own small way, and so for the next few weeks I will be cranking out as many of these little sets as I can to send to her.

The hat is a simple pattern supplied by one of the knitters there, the socks are my own simple pattern made to match the hat. And now it’s your turn! Comment here and tell me what you’re working on!
